North Dakota Shouse: Exterior

Possibly the most stunning element of this home is the exterior and front porch design. The all-black vertical siding and window trim is elegant and modern. This classic look is paired with the most perfect wood accent color. The wood detailing continues into the porch area on the underside of the porch roof ceiling as well. We especially love the three single car garage doors with vertical windows, giving this front exterior a unique style.

North Dakota Shouse: Entry

Step into a large and open entry space in this lovely home. To the left is the office which you can see through full glass, french doors that continue the all-black theme. The entry is huge, so there is plenty of room to sit down and kick off your shoes. Also notice the unique chandelier light fixtures and wood accent on the ceiling. Ample can lights along with the light fixtures bring plenty of light into this space. Stained and sealed concrete flooring throughout this home brings in a shouse design favorite.

North Dakota Shouse: Kitchen and Living areas

There are so many simple, yet stunning, design choices in the kitchen and living spaces in this home. In the kitchen, you will find medium stained wood cabinets with a large black island. White stone countertops, subway tile backsplash and a large center lighting feature tie this space together and give it a homey feel. The kitchen also features a corner pantry and a coffee bar area next to the island space which adds a functional touch.

The kitchen and entryway open up to the living room where you have a massive black stone fireplace which mimics the detailing on the outside of the home. Large windows let in a ton of natural light into the space and there is plenty of room for a full sized sectional. The concrete floors accent this room nicely. Leading into the bedroom areas, there is ample hall space for a mudroom area. This owner used lots of hooks on the wall and baskets under the bench to store shoes, backpacks and other things that need a place.
