One of the first things you might notice about this Kentucky barndominium is its simplicity. This is one of the great things about these homes. You can really make it your own and you can do anything you want with it. Some people choose to have elaborate exteriors and others, like this one, can be incredibly simple and uncomplicated.
Even the one part of this barndominium that has doors and windows is very simple and tasteful. We love how this Kentucky barndominium doesn’t make any claims to be anything other than it is.
The corrugated sheet metal siding is exactly how it came stock and has that industrial feel. This is a home that is individualistic and completely its own thing and we love it.
If there is one word you could use to describe this Kentucky barndominium, it would be functional. The large carport on the side of the barndo is a great addition and gives this home an agricultural feel. Plus, we love the fact that you can just park your car in there and go inside. This way, you can be sure your car is protected and you don’t have to be exposed to the elements.
While the outside of this Kentucky barndominium may be incredibly spartan, the inside is adorable.
We love the natural wood trim and ceiling that lines the living area. We also think the color and pattern of the wood flooring are wonderful. By combining the light and dark woods, this barndo has a wide variety of colors and textures.
The interior of this Kentucky barndominium is a country farmhouse in every way, shape, and form.
The wood paneling of the interior walls is just stunning and it warms up the interior in a wonderful way. The subtle colors that are used throughout are also a great addition. They add an accent without being overbearing or taking away from the organic wood.
The living room is also very nicely decorated with fantastic furnishings. We love the industrial ceiling fan and how it matches with the exterior. That is a fan that is perfect for this home and adds a nice contrast to the rest of the interior. The natural wood trim around the doors is a great continuation of the wood siding on the walls and ceiling.
The dining area is where we get to see where that one sliding glass door leads to. This is a perfect placement for this window as it gives that great natural light to the dining area. Plus, you get a wonderful view of the outdoors from the table. This can be a great feature on beautiful mornings or evenings.

In the kitchen of this Kentucky barndominium, there is more of that beautiful natural wood. This, combined with the little black details in the countertops, creates a stunning look.
We also love the black and stainless steel appliances throughout. They give the kitchen that modern touch without taking away from the wonderful rustic vibe.
The kitchen also gets some of the great natural light from the sliding glass door. While it may not seem like this Kentucky barndominium has a lot of windows, this one does a lot of work. Since it is so concentrated in this one area, it spreads throughout the kitchen and dining room. We think this is a wonderfully clever placement and works very well.
The bedroom in this Kentucky barndominium has everything you could want for a good nights’ sleep. Plus, since there aren’t any windows in the bedroom, you don’t have to worry about curtains. No one in this bedroom will be woken up by the unwanted sun shining in. This is a great feature and we’re sure it makes for a very cozy sleeping experience.
The bathroom features a wonderful double vanity that we think is a great touch. Like so much in this Kentucky barndominium, there are little surprises that we love. The round wood mirrors are a fantastic touch and they work very well with the design. By matching the natural wood on the door but with a little color, they become great accent pieces.
This barndominium embodies everything there is to love about this kind of home. It is unique, individualistic, and incredibly beautiful. If you are going to build your own home, you should build it according to your needs. This is a great example of this and we think it works very well all throughout.
