Paradise, Texas Barndominium With Red Barn

Today’s featured home on BarndominiumLife.com is this beautiful Paradise, Texas barndominium featuring a red barn built by HL Custom Homes. This is an absolutely incredible example of how you can create something every bit as luxurious and modern as a traditional home using the shell of a post-frame building. If you are interested in the potential of a home like this barndominium in Texas, we can’t wait to show you just how amazing these homes can be.

Exterior

This Texas barndominium has such an amazing exterior. It can all be chalked up to the fact that every last detail was considered and throught of when designing the overall look of this home. Everything starts with the colors and we think that the choices made here are absolutely perfect. The lighter grays, and the darker trim makes this home cut such a beautiful profile and outline.

One of the first things you might notice about this Texas barndominium is the stone trim along the bottom of the exterior. It is the perfect way to bring some earthy, organic textures to the forefront and help cut some of the more industrial-looking materials that are used with a home like this. It gives it such a wonderfully retro but still contemporary look. This configuration is absolutely timeless and we love the final effect.

The simplicity of this Texas barndominium is one of the things that makes it very special. All of the lines are incredibly clean, and it is understated but also incredibly well put together and designed. The roof has the same corrugated sheet metal as the siding itself, which gives it a cohesive look that is beautifully done. It makes the whole home feel like it works together so beautifully.

One great feature of this Texas barndominium is the parking area right off the home. It is the perfect place to park any vehicle that you aren’t using all the time. You can also use it as an extra covered outdoor area for gatherings. It adds so much to the functionality of the outdoor space without ruining the profile of the home itself.

We also love the red barn that is unattached and on the same property. This is a great extra structure that can be used for almost anything, and the color is absolutely stunning. It’s a wonderful addition to the home and has so much potential.

Living Area

The living area in this Texas barndominium can only be described with one word: elegant. We absolutely love the polished hardwood floors and how they use contrasting colors and stains to create such a beautiful effect. The shine and sheen on them make the whole home feel incredibly elegant and bring a level of luxury that works so well here.

We absolutely adore the stone fireplace in the living area of this Texas barndominium. The colors match so well with the hardwood flooring as well as the colors of the wall. These details are what make this barndo work so well. This fireplace also features a small mantle shelf which is incredibly useful for decorating purposes and adds an element of class to the whole space.

Kitchen

The kitchen in this Texas barndominium is so unique and beautifully executed. This is an open-concept layout, but the dropped ceilings give it its own contained space that we believe works so well here. This is a great idea that we think more barndominiums should adopt because it manages to keep that space open without blocking off the area but also doesn’t allow the kitchen to leak out into the living area of the home.

We adore the black granite of the kitchen island and how well it contrasts with the rest of this Texas barndominium. The use of contrasting colors can take a space to the next level. That is exactly what is happening here. The dark color of the island countertop mixes with the natural wood of the cabinetry and creates a wonderful effect.

We can’t talk about the kitchen without talking about the wood-printed range hood. This piece of equipment is completely necessary for the kitchen’s functionality, but the designers of this Texas barndominium have taken it and turned it into an accent piece. It’s such a great design choice and works incredibly well here.

Bedrooms

Unlike the rest of this Texas barndominium, the bedrooms have carpeted flooring, which is such a great choice. It takes that same clean look that the rest of the home has and gives it a nice, warm feel. The bedrooms are clean and modern and incredibly comfortable.

Bathrooms

We adore the bathroom in this Texas barndominium and the choices that have been made when it comes to colors and patterns. The marble backsplash behind the bathtub is an excellent accent piece while still being functional and serving a purpose. The shower features the same pattern and continues the look and feel of what this barndominium does incredibly well all throughout it.
